MATTHEW WALUSKO

I am currently working full-time at MT Designs (Los Angeles) as a Chief Creative Officer for clients in the entertainment, technology, travel and publishing verticals. My role tends to include work across the entire arc of a project, including the pitch, discovery, user experience and user interface design, visual design, launch and optimization. Throughout this process, I regularly present work to internal stakeholders, client-side counterparts and executive sponsors. My direct team is composed of 2-5 visual designers, 1-3 programmers and copywriters along with a regular roster of specialized contractors. 

While my primary strength is in visual design, key areas of experience include Creative Direction, Art Direction and Senior-Level Design in Print, Digital, User Interface (UI), Experience (UX) and Design, Typography, Identity, Branding, Brand Management, Photography, Photo and Video Post-Production. I have contributed to projects as a writer and an editor. I received a BFA in Graphic Design and minored in Biochemistry, due to originally studying to become an Ophthalmologist. After working proficiently in design, I took a few years off, studied acting at the Australian Institute of Dramatic Arts (AIDA), joined both the Screen Actors Guild and AFTRA before they joined into one Union, had a few roles in several television shows and feature films and ultimately went back into design. As I have progressed in both visual design and management, my talents are suited toward executive and visual management for corporations, which I have had for the past decade plus at C level stature.
